Gameplay Highlights: In Lair of the Old God, you use your keyboard  WASD or right mouse button to move around a grid full of cards. Each card you face—whether it’s a monster, a helpful item, or a powerful weapon—makes you think hard and plan your next move.  

Hit 'Esc' to pause and gather your thoughts before diving back into the darkness or for quick restart when you see that the end is nigh.

• Monstrous Encounters: Battle against creepy creatures with simple but engaging fights. Manage your attack strength and health carefully to stay alive.
• Deck Building: As you go deeper into the game, choose new cards that make you stronger and help you last longer. Every game feels different because you get new cards each time.
• Weapons and Artifacts: Start each game with one of five basic weapons. Find and use more weapons as you play. After finishing a set of levels, combine two weapons to make one even stronger weapon with special powers.
• Progress Through Stages: The game has four main parts, each with five levels. Each part ends with a tough boss fight. The deeper you go, the harder it gets.

Deep dive into the abyss, build a great deck of weapons, pick the right strategy, and see if you can make it through the darkness.
